China Print Art Studios Union was established by independent print art studios from different regions in 2006. Its main members are not only print artists who have experienced the transition of Chinese printmaking art trend and are widely recognized by the academic community and the public, but also educational artists who work in domestic fine arts colleges and universities. Since its establishment more than ten years ago, the Union has promoted printmaking art exhibitions with the theme of "Being Here" in art galleries and art institutions in Beijing, Shanghai and Hubei respectively. In September 2017, "Being Here" -- Exhibition of Works of China Print Art Studios Union 2017 was open at Guangdong Museum of Art, presenting the development of China's printmaking art to the public while explaining how artists express their identity in group status.

 

Album of "Being Here"  -- Exhibition of Works of China Print Art Studios Union 2017 mainly collects works of nine exhibition artists of "Being Here"  -- Exhibition of Works of China Print Art Studios Union 2017, including Su Xinping and Zhou Jirong, Chen Qi, He Kun, Zhang Guanghui, Lu Zhiping, Xu Baozhong, Kong Guoqiao and Song Guangzhi. Wang Shaoqiang, curator of this Exhibition and Guangdong Art Museum, and Shang Hui, deputy director of the Theoretic Committee of China Artists Association, and director and editor in chief of the Art magazine, wrote prefaces for this Album; Yang Xiaoyan, deputy dean of the  School of Communication and Design of Sun Yat-Sen University and Hu Bin, deputy director of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Art wrote monographs for this Album.
