Huai Yi

i paid attention to Wu Yi’s paintings for a long time.Wu Yi invited me to publish his album of Cozy life which provided me an opportunity to appreciate so many paintings at one time.

Wu’s paintings seem so different under the environment of academies of fine arts. Without doubt Wu is a genius of painting. a painter without talent could only paint something rationally, but they could never know how to make their arts impressive.

Beginning with sketch and color, Wu develops his career naturally. seemed smoothly, Wu may have also suffered a lot inside his heart. But as he has defused all pains through the process, nothing painful could be found in his paintings. People are trained to earn their future living by paintings in the academies of fine arts. only a few among them could become painters.

The regular and repeating daily life to a cozy entertainment is a common pattern in Wu’s paintings. The special and fresh stroke has made such patterns so impresive.
