1961 Born in Tianjin, China
1981 Graduated from Tianjin school of arts and handicrafts  
1987 Graduated from Department of Folk arts, Central academy of  
     Fine art
1989 Graduated from Department of Chinese Painting, Central 
     academy of Fine art, with a master’s degree
     Currently lives and works in Beijing as the professor of Department
     of Chinese Painting in Central academy of Fine art
