Blend of Biology Mingles a Symbiosis Ethics of Human and Nature
My works is made of 18 sculptures that made by white granites and 300-400
sticks of bamboos. The bamboo represents a metaphor of “spirit in all” and
reflects the dissimilation and blend of the human-material and human-nature
under the present multiple and complicated society. A silent and multiple
atmosphere is created through a rearrangement of “harmony of outside and
inside”: the quiet and far-reaching sense of Chinese landscape versus the
complicated and chaotic society.
This is an organic work
that provides an environment-landscape harmony. The activities of the audiences
such as walking, lying, talking will change its shape. I hope that the work
could provide a public space with affinity, just like a small landscape for
people to enjoy themselves.
