1989  Graduated with a master degree of Fine Art from Minzu University of China Vice-president of Minzu University of China; Standing committee member of CPPCC National Committee; Member of the painting room of CPPCC National Committee; Honorary Doctorate of Humanities Department of California State University; Honorary Doctorate of the San José State University; Chinese National level artist; State Council Expert for Special Allowance; Art consulter of 2008 Beijing Olympic Games

Currently lives and works in Beijing
