At the beginning of the opening of the Guangdong Museum of Art, the Guangdong Artists Association handed over all its books and materials (9,335 volumes and 9,659 past magazines), mainly including contemporary Lingnan art documentations and some contemporary literature and history materials and contemporary domestic and overseas art documentations, to the Guangdong Museum of Art. These art professional literature have become the important academic theoretical resources to Guangdong Museum of Art and even the artist community.
