Zhong Zengya
Zhong Zengya (1940-2002)
Born in 1940 in Hengyang, Hunan, also known as Zhong Ya, good at Chinese painting. He was graduated from the Department of Chinese Painting of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in 1966 and learned from Guan Shanyue, Li Xiongcai and Yang Zhiguang. He engaged in creation and research of Chinese painting and calligraphy. His art work had been selected for the 4th, 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th National Art Exhibition, of which his Chinese painting "Chu People" was selected for the Centennial Exhibition of Chinese Painting. He served as a judge of "Three Hundred Chinese Paintings", "The Fourth National Landscape Painting Exhibition", "New Century Chinese Painting Contest" and "Hong Kong and Taiwan Exhibition of the Ninth National Art Exhibition".
