All Roads Lead to Spirit: Lu Yushun’s solo exhibit

THE works on display are a collection of domestic artist Lu Yushun’s representative paintings. The series was first created in the early 1990s, drawing much inspiration from Taoism which teaches that the heavens, the earth, and the human race depend on each other.
Most of the scenery depicted in Lu’s paintings are mountains, rivers and lands in Heilongjiang Province. Despite different subjects and artistic expressions, Lu’s works reflect his thoughts on the relationship between humans, nature and society.
