DOMESTIC artist Liang Rujie is skilled in painting portraits of Chinese people, and flowers and birds. Her painting style is graceful and gentle.
Some 168 pieces of works, including some of Liang’s award-winning paintings, will be on display at her latest exhibit titled Essence of Nature.
Liang’s bird-and-flower paintings, a popular kind in traditional Chinese painting mainly surround the theme of truth and beauty, exploring nature and the meaning of life. Based on the traditional Chinese painting. Liang’s works also show modern artistic skills in visual aspect.
