2002年毕业于广州美术学院美术学系本科，并入广东美术馆研究部从事策展与编辑工作。2006年毕业于广州美术学院美术史系，获硕士学位，并留系任教。
2010年毕业于中国艺术研究院，获博士学位。
现为广州美术学院美术馆副馆长、艺术管理学系副教授、硕士生导师。

Education & Career:
2002: After graduating with Bachelor’s Degree from Department of Fine Arts at Guangzhou Academy of Arts, Hu worked as a curator and editor in the Research Department of Guangdong Museum of Art;
2006: After graduating with Master’s Degree from Department of History of Fine Arts at Guangzhou Academy of Arts, Hu served as a lecturer at the Department;
2010: Hu graduated with a Doctoral Degree from Chinese National Academy of Arts.
Present: Hu currently services as the Vice President of Art Museum of Guangzhou Academy of Arts and associate professor and master supervisor at the Department of Art Management, Guangzhou Academy of Arts.
