WANG Linxu is a Chinese contemporary artist with international influence in the field of art. His ink wash paintings of bamboo have often served as gifts for foreign officials to convey mutual friendship and cultural communication. His 30 years of exploration in ink wash paintings has provided a new reference for the traditional art form to adopt new contemporary elements.
The UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has praised Wang’s work, saying that the paintings have the ability to raise people’s love of nature and their attention to society’s development.
